If Coachella and Burning Man had a bass addicted, illegitimate love child that creation would be the Do LaB's Lightning in a Bottle. Taking place a short 40 minutes from Los Angeles in the remarkably desolate Oak Canyon Ranch, the festival is a mix of art, culture and music complete with multiple stages, a huge camp ground and plenty of colorful individuals to party with.

I've been to LIB the past 2 years and it is clearly not a "dubstep festival." A lot of the music is bass-heavy, and you will hear some dubstep, but they have plenty of house, downtempo, and psychedelic on the roster to satisfy nearly any fan of electronic music.Just Google some of the acts in the lineup. Shpongle in particular should not be missed!
